The Howls at HOOT

I may have lost interest in Unpacked but fuck it have a similar fic that might motivate me more now that we got Season 4.

Chapter 1

Test Tube awoke to the frantic nudges of Bot and Fan.

“Huh- wha…?”

“They found OJ shattered just outside.”

“...what?!”

The next thing the vial knew, she was pulled right outside to around the side of the building, met with a crowd of everyone else that inhabited their land. Some were talking to each other in terror about what just happened, while others were screaming furiously for the metaphorical blood of whoever committed the act. Sure enough, in front of them was orange juice splattered against the wall, alongside an array of broken glass.

Test Tube also couldn’t help but notice Poppy once again restrained by Paintbrush and Box in a repeat of history.

However, she decided to focus on the crime scene itself as she heard the voices of the outrage.

“I think it’s clear who did it! Cobs has killed before, and in the form of Poppy, they’ve risen from the dead to kill again!!!” Lifering noted.

“I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I SEE THEM HANG!!!” Toilet screamed barbarically.

Paper didn’t make any sound. His face had no emotion. It was clear the murder of his boyfriend broke him.

“PEOPLE, we can’t just point fingers like this!” Cabby tried to ease the tension.

“Poppy has been nothing but nice, they can’t just have turned to murder!!!” Tea Kettle added.

“...What if this is our fault?!" Marshmallow squeaked "We turned them away and now they’re getting their revenge!!! WE DESERVE THIS!!!”

“Even if motivated by revenge, Poppy doesn’t seem like the kind of person to turn to barbarics… if they were Cobs reincarnated, don’t you think they’d do something more… tactical?” Taco discussed.

“GUYS!!!” Test Tube called out as she looked at the crime scene further. Her cry successfully got the mob’s attention.

“I have my distrust of Poppy myself, but…”

Test Tube pointed to the missed details within the juice splattered everywhere.

“...since when did they have clawed paws? Let alone that big???”

What were once roars of fear and/or anger had receded to quiet murmurs.

“...a bear, maybe?”

Test Tube looked further…

“No… bear paws have five digits… these prints have only four… like a cat or dog…”

“Should that matter?! NO animal has been on this island! We didn’t even think they were REAL for a long time!”

Something clicked in Candle.

“What if… the perpetrator was one of us…?”

“But-”

“...and they don’t even remember doing it?”

“...what are you saying? What does that have to do with-...”

“Has anyone else here gotten familiar with the outside horror movies we got access to?”

Some nodded, some shook “no”.

“Well… as Test Tube and I both know with our differing interests, it was a full moon last night.”

Terror struck most when they realized where Candle was going with this, and even more so when she confirmed it.

“...it was a werewolf.”

hey guys I'm writing a ii darkfic!

this is my official post for it I geuss

This is the (wattpad) cover for it! (Lots of info here :3c)

It is being cross posted on Wattpad and Ao3, however some chapters (like the first) have drawings and I am not going to try to go through the struggle of getting them into ao3-

Plus, ao3 tends to be more serious and is formatted differently and stuff, so the Wattpad version will have extra things (sorry people who primarily only use ao3-)

Only the first chapter is out right now and it's rather short, but the more people that see it the more motivated I'll be to keep writing

The tags (or disclaimer on the Wattpad version) have everything you need to know! Mostly. I'm impulsivly writing this and have zero clue where it's going, so we're going to find out what'll happen together-
