I really do hope that Metag didn't run off with Poppy because they're evil or want to convince them that Cobs wasn't actually that bad mainly because I love them bonding and having their little friendship TvT

The news report also spooked me a bit I wonder how the outside is going to factor into the plot, I've always assumed that outside of the island Cob's was the villain with good publicity I'm sure he didn't have everyone convinced and that he had some people who hated his guts outside too but I doubt it was the majority of people.

I really like Taco's dynamic with Soap too they're not instantly getting along but that makes sense and it's fun to watch, love the Tacomic too I love this whole trio thing in general.

In other news I'd also like to mention bfdi since tpot 20 now has a date set in stone (well atleast for theaters) I want One to continue to be awful tbh, I see a few people giving her sad backstories and all and I don't mind if she does have that but I don't want it to justify if that makes sense, I want her to know what she's doing is vile but do it anyway because she wants more power you know? At the end of the day this all boils down to not wanting her redeemed though really if people do I don't mind this is just what I personally would like to happen.

And anyway even if there was a way for her actions to be justified enough for redemption I kinda doubt she would want it.

Same!! I love MeTag and their cute little visual cues!! And they and Poppy are such lovely little duo!! I really liked the part where MeTag conveyed that they'd quit if they weren't on Poppy's team... they're very baby!

The news report was quite spooky!! Makes me excited!! I know I posted something along the lines of awaiting the episode in which interpol comes to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Steve Cobs, and would like to make it clear that I was not joking, I am waiting for it, and it seems like it might actually happen in some capacity. Cobs certainly had people who didn't trust him, since we see large crowd questioning him in The Future Is So Yesterday, but even if he was unpopular, murder is still most likely illegal, so...

I do wonder, along those lines, what would happen if the contestants were to be investigated for his disappearance. Would they need to get the Shimmer to come in and clarify that Cobs was working on committing multiple genocides and had to be stopped for their and the contestants' own safety? Would Mephone come back and take the blame for it?

This is coming from my taco-obsessed mind, but I also think it would be funny if they sent Taco in to handle the police. We know she's an excellent liar, can run a perfect deception for years at a time, so what if they decide to call on her? Tell her to lie the best she can to get those guys out of here. Taco says no because Mic wouldn't approve until they get Mic to tell her she very much does approve, she does not want to be arrested, Taco go lie to those people like you've never lied before. I'd give her an hour or so, and they'd be gone for good.

They're not instant besties!!! Just what I wanted!!! They're not not getting along, but they're not getting along perfectly!! Soap is still a little suspicious of Taco and wary of her need to be with Mic all the time, and Taco is a little jealous of Mic having another close friend, which is pretty reasonable for Taco honestly. She was Pickle's inarguable #1 in the first season, the only person she really 'shared' Mic with was Knife who ended up successful in his campaign to get Mic to leave Taco, and Mepad who had one other friend who was very much not around and whom she is now in conflict with. It's... pretty reasonable that Soap would feel like a threat to Taco, especially with all that on top of her generally untrusting nature.

Oh yeah, I don't want a particularly sad backstory for One either. Something dramatic? An interesting conflict? Yes, sure, absolutely, but I'd rather the show not try to justify her. I want her to be evil for the love of the game, if that makes sense. Her having reasons to be angry with the other algebraliens would be good, but those reasons being the only reason for/cause of all her villainy? No thank you.

I agree when you say she most likely wouldn't want redemption. Not to Taco all over this discussion again, but Taco had a reason to want redemption, she wanted the personal connection(s) that she could only have through changing her ways. One... does not. She wants power, not friendship!
