A slow life on Catalina Island was supposed to fix them.

Recovering from all the events from Seattle, Abby and Lev have finally settled down in Avalon at long last. Abby’s back home with her people, and Lev is finally able to be a normal kid. But the beachside fantasy Abby had dragged them around to chase for months is becoming a nightmare. Constant fighting, reminders of their past, and an inability to relax are preventing the only dream they’ve worked for. But as long as they don’t talk about it, and focus on their new roles as Fireflies, they’ll be fine… right?

Safe away from the cult he was raised in, Lev should be more than happy with where he’s at right now. Him and Abby are closer than ever, he has a girlfriend, and a safe space to grow into himself where he is accepted and seen as who he truly is. However, he’s having a really hard time fitting in. Shouldn’t survival be just him and Abby after everything they’ve been through? And being safe feels wrong nowadays. On top of that, frequent mood swings of an extremely alarming degree are plauging him and turning him into someone he’s surely not…

hey guys, chapter 4 of if i fix you might be a day or two late :( me and my cowriter have both been super busy and don’t really have much time to edit anything and i want to make sure everyone is getting quality over quantity! it IS coming though, so be excited😸😸
