I keep having Situations at the health center
I'm shaking and crying right now, I just got a call for a cancelation at my neurology office and they offered me an appointment opening TOMORROW!!!! I've been in hell from my iih pressure and my appointment was still over a month away. Something in the universe aligned for this to happen I just know it because I never get this lucky. I needed this so bad, thank you thank you thank you
I've made this joke about five thousand times, but goddamn, man.
New type of vampire who drink brain fluids.
You think it's unsexy. I have idiopathic intracranial hypertension. We're not the same.
Chronic illness can fuck right off this last week and weather change has been hell
I hope this reaches someone who needs it.
If you have chronic headaches/migraines, have IIH (idiopathic intracranial hypertension), or most specifically chiari malformation I have a suggestion that may help. I’ve been diagnosed with chiari malformation for 18 years, but it’s not “severe” enough to consider surgery as the only symptom is a headache that has lasted well..since I was diagnosed.
Sob story aside, there’s one thing that always has given me comfort and at least mildly helped symptoms. And let me say that no, I’m not being sponsored, it’s not a big name brand thing.
Rest on the high-quality medical pillows from MedPillow.com. Our products provide comfort and support for people with Chiari malformation.
My mother actually deeply researched and reached out to the doctor who was, at the time still in development of these pillows. The pillows are separated into general and if you’re post “zipper” surgery for recovery.
The doctor, sadly has passed since then, but the family has continued the business. Obviously, I highly recommend, and I hope others can get at least a small reprieve as well.
