SALTY spray reaches him from across the boardwalk in the crash of the wave's fury. They're relentless in their attack and he'd take the time to observe the power, be humbled by the walls of water that come far taller than him up against the barriers. He's a little busy. It wasn't seawater that dismantled the attractions here.
In however long has passed (assuming this is the future, but who could tell) on the Island since his stay, the amusement park section of the walk had expanded. It would have been a sight to see, he guesses. That's all he can do as the parts from all the rides had been scavenged, if the scrappers are anything to go by. The red glow of their helmets leave trails in the mist as they scurry around the skeleton of a monstrous animatronic hand, dismantling it as fast as they can.

He'd thought at first he'd found himself in the Wastelands of Hancock's memories again, given the sorry state of a wartorn land, but not for long. There are layers. Gunships were lefts where they crashed who knows how long ago and the city simply build around them. shy reserved around him since this began. They had a conversation that touched him right to his core and now this. Fucking obviously this is not close to a priority right now, but it chews at him here and there, the thought of Hancock changing his mind, thinking this is all fake. A coincidence? Probably. Could be the curse. Thankfully, he can throw himself into keeping tabs on anything moving in the area since interpersonal relationships should not be on his radar right now.
