here’s some quick headshots of my boiz, ikaia and benji! i’ll give them a brief intro too bc i SUCK at being elaborate lmao 🏝🌺🌊
Ikaia (left): the mayor of kirakuna (somehow). he’s illiterate and spends most of his time avoiding work bc he can’t read it and also bc he claims he doesn’t have to. he’s usually found outside collecting random objects he finds (lost items, gyroids, etc) and hoards them in his house to sell for money. he also harrasses kapp’n daily for his boat since he “never uses it”. his personality is kinda confident/dramatic, and he can be rly aggressive in terms of coming on too strong and being too in people’s faces. but he means well uwu
Benji (right): very polite for the most part and minds his own business. he doesn’t like to be bothered, so he spends a lot of time trying to be alone so he can collect seashells on the beach. he’s also rly passive/lazy tho so if anyone (ikaia) does bother him he just sits there and says nothing. ikaia calls benji his “first mate” - hence, the hats they’re wearing - and usually finds benji and drags him along to find stuff. benji doesn’t talk a lot; he just sighs and sometimes tells ikaia to shut up if he’s being too loud. if ikaia gets too out of control? benji has the strength to put him in a headlock
