Sims 2 Legacy and Ikea Stuff Pack

This is not so much for the early adopters, but for the people who will try The Sims 2 Legacy in a few months.

You can't just plop the SP8 folder into your game folder with all the rest. The game still won't see it. No, it needs the correct registry entries to work.

The instructions and necessary files are at GitHub.

Missing Songs download. You will need to use the instructions to put these files in the right place. They all go into TSData/Res/Sound, but for different EPs and SPs. I have indicated where each goes by adding it to the end of the file, for example CollegeRockEP1 and MetalSP6. You will need to rename them and remove that EP1 or SP6, after you put them in the right place. I had to do the renaming due to duplicate names.

IKEA stuff pack

for everybody who bought the sims 2 legacy collection and wants the ikea stuff pack but notices that the original post with the link is gone:

download the sfs files HERE

put these in a folder inside your downloads folder and the stuff as well as the collections should show up in your game

Someone already found a way to include the IKEA pack in the Sims 2 re-release. I'm still not sure if I'm going to buy the re-release version. We'll see.

Apparently, the new Sims 2 re-release includes all the packs except the IKEA one. So, I won't be buying it for now. I'll just use the old version, even if I need Graphic Rules Maker and the 4 Gb patch. Maybe someone will find a way to make it available in the new version in the future...

Either I'm crazy or...

I could have sworn I've seen a CEP fix for the IKEA POANG chair so that the frame would be recolorable. I thought it was by HafiseAzale, but I'm not seeing it on their tumblr, LJ or any postings at GOS or TBTO. Please confirm that I'm not crazy and/or let me know where it might be hiding. Thanks everyone!

I swear I spotted a pink and white-ish print-y style cover in the catalog. Page 163. Upon closer inspection, it's actually just solid pink. My imagination goes a little crazy.

IKEA SP required. HugeLunatic's Klippan repository fix recommended. Also suggested are HL's pillowless sofa and the armchair (pictured).
