🌞🌴🌺 REMEMBRANCE DAY 🌺🌴🌞 A DAY OF REMEMBERING FREEDOM & SACRIFICES = 15th of August 1945 The official ending of the Second World War. Remembering the Liberation of the Japanese Capitulation in the Dutch Indies, former Colony of the Netherlands. Fatherland of my Grandparents. Both of my Grandfathers served as Dutch KNIL Militaries we're both kept with their families in Japanese WarCamps. Soon after the Japanese Liberation the end of 350 years of Colonial time came. The Indonesian Independance was Another beginning of an enduring traumatic Era of great uncertainty. Wich affected my Grandparents, parents, family and Generations after. Born and Raised as an Third Generation Mollucan in the Netherlands.
