Do I have any peeps who know @ikigatomaruno​?  Haven’t seen any new posts from them in a long time, and I’m worried.  Sent them an ask a while back, never got a response.

Last night I had a dream. Probably the fact that I drew Ianto before I went to sleep and went to sleep in a single bed with Plaxy... but still.

Anyway, my dream. I dreamt that me and Plaxy went to London late at night to watch Billie Piper in a theatre production (bearing in mind we live in the centre of England we had to catch a 3 hr train journey). When we got there, we met up with Captain Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones to watch the production with Billie in. 

All four of us got high while Billie was on stage on LSD and weed, and we were all making out? Well, I was making out with Jack and Ianto and Plaxy sat and watched (with her consent, it was all fine, she was too stoned lol).

Then we left early to go to Ann Summers (for those of you who don't know, that's a lingerie/sex toy shop in the UK), where Jack bought me a vibrator and used it on me, Ianto and Plaxy in the hotel room we all shared that night.... 

Then I woke up.

Sometimes I hate being gay. Sometimes I hate the discrimination and the humiliation of coming out to people, and sometimes I hate the fact that I'm considered 'disgusting' and 'immoral' to a lot of people.

But then sometimes I remember that I have the best girlfriend in the world. She makes me happy and makes me smile and she makes my life better. Sometimes I remember that there are people who accept me and love me no matter what.

And so sometimes, I come to the conclusion that it's not all bad. Being gay isn't always terrible, when the love outweighs the hate and disgust.

Lots of things are of medical importance and not inscribed in all your documentation requiring a lengthy process to change, it if it even is possible.

What I want to point out with this is that gender is treated in a very particular way, legally. It's easier to change your name than your legal gender, despite your name being put to much greater use (as an identifier). In fact, gender has very little legal significance, yet legal gender is given huge importance. And that says something.
