before ikoroshia, i thought ishimaru was an anal dweeb who cared too much about rules for whatever the hell and he was annoying and ugly ......................

but then chan arrived in ikoroshia!!! and i was instantly blown away with how well she played him in a 1x1 with him and junko. i was like huh??????? this chara...that i havent felt much about before...is giving me feels??? chan's portrayal allowed me to see beyond all the lame stuff i saw in ishi

from then on it was "huh. this kid has feelins..." "this kid...is hurting..." "ishimaru dESERVES EVERYONE'S APPRECIATION" and hahaha look where i am now i have an ishimaru icon on tumblr and i cry the most over sad ishimaru shit

chan gives so much detail to the character that is becomes so much more real for me and sometimes its subtle things like "you weren't bitten.... [he looks at her up and down, her appearance confirmed it; he pulls the cord as junko instructed] ..... were you?" and "swallowing the bile that rised in his throat, he stares at sayaka a bit until he reluctantly pulls the cord again". after i read that i kinda just ... paused to take that instense stuff in. all his actions and dialogue are things that i can totally see him doing whether it be in the chats or playin mafia when we're up on our feet
