getting to know ilana pt5 (ALMOST DONE I SWEAR): what are your top 5 ships ever?
I’m not, like, a huge shipper? I don't like, fall in love with relationships and root for them over all sensical and story-telling plotline on a show. Ships aren’t what compel me to stay with a show or series. While I like the dynamics of certain ships (usually these are darker ones) I only really root for ships that can be both interesting and seem positive for the characters involved.
... That being said:
1. Lily and Marshall (How I Met Your Mother)
actual g-ddamn soulmates, sitcom mom and dad, the reason I believe in love
2. Gomez and Morticia (any iteration of the Addams Family)
goth mom and dad, never not horny for each other, the most loving parents on television
3. Bonnie and Enzo (The Vampire Diaries)
this ship is the only reason i watched season 8. it was like the show accidentally made two people love each other in a (relatively) healthy way because it was the two characters they didn’t really care about. they made sense, they worked, they gave me iconic scenes and moments, they were so good.
4. Maya and Lucas (Girl Meets World)
was i a little too old to be watching this show when it was on? probably. is this a hill I'm willing to die on? yes.
5. Michael and Alex (Roswell: New Mexico)
season 2 sucked so bad but malex was giving us endgame content in like, episode 5 of season 1. they are heartbreaking and wonderful and I love them your honor.
