It’s a good day!
Finally, something worked out! My diagnoses of Still’s Disease was overturned, and I have been diagnosed with Cryopyrin Associated Periodic Fever Syndrome instead. My rheumy asked for Ilaris, not expecting it to get approved, with the plan to move on to anakinra. Not only did it get approved, but I got copay assist!!! What would have cost $19,000 now costs $50 (this is an extra huge deal since I was forced to resign from my job due to illness, we’re “rationing ramen noodles and toilet paper” broke lol). And the lady from Ilaris was super nice when I started sobbing uncontrollably. IT’S A GOOD DAY!!!
