I didn’t have the time or energy to do Huevember in all its glory (or in November, haha :’), but I did use it in name as an opportunity to practice values in digital art. Planning to do more!

Welcome to my new art blog!!
Hey there, my name is Ildi and this is my new blog for my original art!! After about 2 years, it finally opens!! Yay!!!!
I used to mainly post fanarts on my previous account mumnim, but I decided that I wanted to separate the space on which I share my original and my fan artwork. After much thought and a long, looooooooong time, here is the first half of the two! :>
I uploaded some art already, starting from 2015 through. I will try to update whenever I find the time - there is many more to come! Whilst I’m very busy, I really, *REALLY* wanted to start sharing my art with y’all again. And this is a rather special date (for me) too: The 9th of October marks the nameday of one of my characters who is very close to my heart, Dénes! Soon you all will get to know him and many more of my other characters, too.

It was that fateful day... that changed our lives forever.
A story about a man - a father - whose son has been cursed to live as a carrot. Both of them have to deal with the consequences this brings, and as more and more incidents happen to CarrotSon, the man realises that there is more to their tragedy as pure coincidence. Someone wants them to suffer - and the man makes it his quest to find out who it is.
My only excuse for this is that it’s been made at 2:30AM in a sleep-depriven state.
A lady! I couldn’t decide how to draw her from the waist down so it’s a mess, but the “official” version is the monster-/snake-tail. Made with blue and red ballpoint pens.
This started out as a random sketch, but turned out really good in the end! Even through the mistakes, I like this guy a lot. :> Fountain pen.

Some colors in the midst of all the black ink drawings! It was surprisingly easy to touch this one up to show the right saturation and color of the original piece on paper. Graphite and colored pencils, 2017.
