Catamaran Manna Goes to Île à Vache 2019

Catamaran Manna, when not working as a crewed charter yacht in the Virgin Islands is helping out on the island of “ile a Vache” located on the south side of Haiti. For those that may not know, Manna spends much of our their free time working through a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, which just happens to be called “Manna for Missionaries”. The foundation works within five different categories:

1. Funded sabbatical 2. Education 3. Disaster Relief 4. Humanitarian effects 5. Support of third-party organizations.

The most recent trip not only allowed the pleasure and honor of working with Humanitarian effects it also afforded the opportunity in supporting third-party organizations. One of the cool things Capt. Wayne & Emily have learned is the "more we work together, the more that can be accomplished while here on earth". No one person can do it alone. So, here’s a shout out to this week’s big three non-profit organizations that not only had the discipline, but the foresight to work together in an effort to improve many lives on this small island found in Haiti. Thanks to Sail Relief Team, Good Samaritan Foundation of Haiti and Sail Aid International for working on a project that has been coined “Let There Be Light”. 500 Solar light kits were delivered and will provide light in up to three rooms per house. Many standard solar panels, food, clothing, mask and fins along with used sails were donated and delivered. Learn More: http://bit.ly/MannaYachtCharters
