Flashback from almost 2 years ago when I look like a skeleton and was basically dead. This is what Crohn's looks like. This is what being in the hospital for a month looks like. This is what being 100lbs and losing muscle mass looks like. This is what death looks like. This is what fighting for your life looks like. This is what 5 surgeries within a week looks like. It isn't pretty, it wasn't easy. But this is also what survival looks like. I didn't win, but I survived. And I am grateful every day for my second chance at life.
