I’m reading ‘In Losing Grip On Sinking Ships’ again because it’s been long enough for me to forget bits of the story, it’s definitely one of- if not the best Wanda Maximoff fic I’ve ever read up to date. I still remember when it was only a few chapters and immediately getting hooked on it, followed you not too long after because I didn’t wanna miss any updates!
That being said… I feel like a traitor for inquiring about this again because as I said I was rooting for a Wanda endgame.
Would you ever possibly be open to writing a single chapter about the reader ending up with Natasha if it were a commission? I remember you said maybe but that was during the height of IGLOSS so I figure this might be a shot in the dark but there’s no harm in asking.
I absolutely adore them platonically but what if ✨
All the what-ifs of ILGOSS are a possibility for me to write. I don’t want to be that kind of author who shuts down any future opportunity to go back and add more to a well-loved universe. But I will only be considering it after I’m done with All Of Your Pieces.
But if I were to write it, it’s definitely not going to be a oneshot. I like to develop relationships over a long period of time and organically. If ILGOSS reader were ever to end up with Nat, the angst will revolve around R being the first to see Nat in a new (and romantic) light after being taken care of by her during her lowest, and Nat resisting initially because R is the most important figure in her life next to Yelena. It’s going to be difficult for Nat to admit her own feelings, especially with R’s history with her little sister. So yeah, there will be lots of resistance and unresolved sexual tension if I ever write a Nat X Reader version of ILGOSS :)
