[ They are definitely troublesome half-siblings who are probably very good at getting on Hera’s nerves. Is it his fault or Hermes', well it's something which probably changes from time to time, even if I have a feeling that Hermy is the one who causes more trouble but I can't be sure about that! Maybe Apollo surprised his little half-brother with his skills :D Anyway, I completely agreeing with this ship here, I can totally see this happening! ]

Original melodies materialised within his mind as naturally as it would with any other effortless thought. It brought him great joy to stand before an audience and compose an unique song for them in the moment; his genius inspired by the muses, his fingers naturally danced across the strings of his lyre in front of the audience’s eyes. 

For the first time in the mortal musician’s life, he found himself at a loss. 

Orpheus stood within a forest clearing for hours attempting to compose a glorious hymn to the god Apollo. His only audience was the flora and the fauna around him, yet he felt discouraged all the same. Melodies flooded his mind as they always had, none seemed glorious enough to praise his most beloved god

A sigh escaped his lips as he leans against the tree, “forgive me Apollo, one day I swear I will capture a fraction of your glory in song,” he murmured as he casted his eyes up at the sun. Part of him doubted that the god had ever heard him, yet he wanted to spread the sun god’s glory all the same.

Without Apollo, he would be a mere fraction of what he was this day; he owed absolutely everything to him.

"We may need to amp our lyre's up somehow. Apparently they cannot hear our music in the Underworld, and that is a grave issue."

He squinted, but decided that he was going to let that pun go. “I think we should ditch the lyres all together. You and I on miked brass instruments would definitely reach the Underworld.”
