It was a nice evening. Quiet, largely uneventful, no loud noises. Not even a fight or a scuffle. That is, until the sun faded away from view completely, and the Moon took to the sky, hovering over the town. The evening was quiet-- until the roar of a woman, reminiscent of a lion's, echoed through the air, followed by the sound of splintering wood. Those sounds happened to be Leona smashing through Diana's door, accompanied by the shout, "What did you do!?"
The moon was full, it was Diana’s favourite time. She could feel the pull of its strength within her. She rested her head against the windowpane, her lithe frame perched upon the sill. She was beginning to adjust. to settle here. It wasn’t as if she had a home to hurry back to and it was nice to be away from memories of her past.
Though it seemed this feeling was not meant to last long.
She braced herself as the crash broke the silence, hand already reaching for the blade beside her as she lept to her feet.
Leona.
She felt a twinge of pain, deep in her gut, but she ignore it. That was her old life, things were so different now.
“What have I done?” She questioned mockingly. “Nothing. How like a Solari. Brash and ignorant as always. Now kindly leave before I make you pay for the damage.”
