So, just to be clear. Yesterday dream had a podcast on his merch Discord. Some saint (em) asked dream "when are dream shorts coming back again? we miss them :(" so dream said this in the podcast:
"When're Dream Shorts coming back? I dunno, I think I-, I think I still have some I haven't uploaded, but, uhm, yeah I'm not sure what I wanna do there. I think we're- we're deciding if we wanted to uhm, try and upload like twice a month, like challenge videos on the Dream Team channel, or if we wanted to keep doing Dream Shorts, cuz we prolly could dedicate the same amount of time. Uhm, and be able to do- like uh- like upload on the Dream Team channel. So we are trying to-, we were just trying to decide which one would be... better. Or we might convert, like Dream Shorts to being like actual, like, shorts or something. You know, and instead of like, the skits, but.. I dunno. I dunno for sure."
Let's take this apart, shall we?
"I think I still have some I haven't uploaded" No shit, Sherlock! On the stream when George leaked the staple's disck's short, dream asked George which shorts should they upload, and he gave him three choices.

So! The merchant one is the one with Techno, our beloved. And the tattoo one is the BBH and Sapnap one. So there is the hounted house one for sure. (Which btw George choose, and dream uploaded the tattoo one. Let's not talk about that...)

Same amount of time? We saw with the one with Ranboo (The Life Of An Enderman) and with the one with Philza in it (Dream Team Birthday Party), that if George and Sapnap are not fighting, and Drean doesn't start a podcast 5 minutes before recording, these are quick to film. So like, writing these and planning them are much more time than the actual filming. And finding a time that works for everyone - the camerapeople, the Dream Team, the guests - must be hell. I'm not sure what kind of challenge videos was he thinking about, but finding a time to work for just the three of them must be so much easier. But, like, i love these shorts... I don't want them to stop :(

Maaan, no! The skits are the backbone of that channel. Literally thats all that is! Why would you take kidvoice!Sapnap or famer!George from us! I'm really not against the shorts to be actual shorts, but why change the format? It works well, it's really funny and unpredictable and it is in it's best form.
I don't know what will happen to the shorts channel, but HARD VOUCH FOR KEEPING IT ALIVE whatever happens in the future.
