anyway:

- doesn’t really show that he’s sick but ppl like tighnari and alhaitham will notice

- just a,,, thin layer of sweat on him when he’s feverish

- lots of drooling, will kneel down and just let it drip from his mouth for a while…

- gurgles coming from his throat, lots of swallowing

- slight bloat. but noticeable

- long, deep burps that end up with a tiny bit of vomit, which he swallows back again

- lots of heavy breathing once he’s in front of the toilet

- also burping up puke, then gurgling noises as it continues to comes up

- wave after wave… until he’s empty,, and then more gurgly dry heaves

- takes a while to recover and stand again

- will probably go to bathroom and just drool and burp a few more times because he still feels sick even though there’s nothing left in his stomach

- would probably get car- and seasick 👀

- thrown up in his hands so many times… just holding it there and trying so hard not to vomit again

- lots of stomach movements

- also quiet, short groans

- thrown up together with tighnari once. magical moment

- you can absolutely tell if he got sick because he will be sniffling and holding back burps the rest of the day

hi im very upset so im gonna distract myself with these even though i said id take a break

- yes his ears go back, he does airplane ears

- burpy af, and they’re gurgly and bring acid

- shivers a lot

- mostly trying to stand while throwing up but depending on how much comes out he’ll fall to his knees

- lots of burps that SOUND like it’s gonna come up but don’t actually bring anything with them

- induces sometimes after he ate something suspicious (mushrooms, mostly. since he tests them sometimes)

- inducing gets super messy bc he takes like. 3 or 4 fingers and just tries to gets it up quickly (bc obviously poison shouldn’t affect him, so he needs to act quick

- doesn’t really listen to his body even though he preaches it to everyone else

- motionsick

- got sick a lot during akademiya days and was NOT treated well

- like kaveh they’d tell him to just power through because knowledge is more important

- thrown up during lectures multiple times

- picture: him in a classroom, during a lecture, getting out a plastic bag and throwing up violently into it; he’s been sick for two days but akademiya doesn’t allow sick days so he came prepared

- gurgly retches and burps mostly, lots of gasping

- whole body moves when he throws up, it shakes him completely

- when he has more liquid inside him than anything else it comes up with a gurgle in one long stream

- eyes stay open for the first few heaves

- disgusted by his own puke, will start to retch again after he’s done

hmmmmm, i never had a scenario hc request but i’ll do my best! (a rhyme)

interpret their relationship how you want it to be btw!

- he’s probably very sick with something, super feverish and out of it and kaeya caught wind of it (? is that how you say it) and went straight to dawn winery to take care of him

- i also hc diluc has highkey emetophobic hehehe

- he’s been drooling into a bucket by his bedside for half an hour until kaeya tells him to go to the bathroom, the room is a bit cooler and they can open the windows in his bedroom during that time

- now he’s trembling with his head over the toilet bowl, both hands on his stomach

- kaeya is holding his hair and rubbing his back

- diluc is just groaning and spitting, every groan getting more and more shaky and whiny

- “it’s alright, just breathe and let it happen”

- offers to help him, hand gesture and diluc shakes his head, a tear rolling down his cheek

- some heavy breathing and he starts doing these very light gags

- a sigh from kaeya because he knows this is going to take some time

- “you don’t… have to do this.. you don’t have to stay.. i did not ask you to”

- “i know how much you hate being alone, i figured i can offer a bit of comfort”

- awkward silence except for the back rubbing noise

- oh and dilucs stomach makes lots of noise but kaeya knows not to comment

- breath hitches, diluc visibly tenses up and a few burps bubble out of him

- uncomfortable moans and a,,, very concerning sound. you can hear it coming up his throat

- breath hitches again and it absolutely splashes out of him

- kaeya closes his eyes and turns away, but is still rubbing his back

- it takes a while for everything to come up, lots of short huffed breaths and heaves, thick vomit splashing into the water

- a bit splashes back up into dilucs face too

- kaeya is swallowing back nauseous burps because oh, what a gross sensation overall

- turns back to diluc once he is just panting and choking back sobs

- combing through his hair with his fingers to calm him. “it’s okay, it’s over..”

- takes some time for diluc to even look up, vomit stuck on his chin and coming from his nose

- whispering apologies

general illness:

- once again will try to hide it

- “this stays between us” if someone finds out

- lots of sighs and groans

- shaky but tries not to make it too obvious

- sniffling a lot bc his nose runs like MAD

- teary eyes too so you see him slightly lift his eyepatch and clean his eye sometimes

- gets a bit flustered about being seen like that

- harsh harsh coughs my man has some lung issues !

- likes having someone caress his hair/scalp, even more so when sick

- only very slight fever flush, no matter how high his temperature is

- dozes off accidentally, which is a dead giveaway for him being sick

- diluc has personally taken him home when he fell asleep at the tavern more than once

- alcohol tolerance also gets very low but he still tries

- shivering so much, he is so cold, man, he is so cold

- light sneezes but lots of snot

- migraines !!!!

- drinks way too much all the time and has made a mess @ the angels share toilet countless times ft. a walk of shame and whispering to diluc / charles (?) “hey i…. i need some cleaning supplies, uh… i…. i got sick…” and it’s just . so normal by now

- also terrible hangovers, can’t get out of bed and pukes EVERYWHERE. on the sheets, the floor, himself, everything. (kaveh does this too!!!!!)

- will drag his ass to the knights hq no matter how sick he is though

- passed out in jeans office so many times

- stomach is quiet but feels loud. like it rumbles and churns but no one hears it

- lots of swallowing and suppressed burps

- head on table. trying to breathe. but then pukes everywhere (once again. he’s just very messy)

- lots of loud, quick dry heaves before it comes up

- then wet burps and big gushes of puke

- needs to sit/kneel because he WILL fall over

- holds his own hair

- looong recovery period. like he will throw up for 10 minutes but then be absolutely dead for another 40

Thoma emeto headcanons pls 😳 the hot pot game clip had me acting upppp

also did these before but once again i forgor what i said so new batch:

- very prone to overeating

- also can’t turn food down

- got sick from ayatos food… experiments multiple times (both ends. hehe)

- can’t hold his liquor well, gets very whiny and spends the entire night with his head over the toilet bowl and ayato or ayaka comforting him. he keeps apologizing and trying not to break into tears

- bad hangovers, will fall asleep in the bathroom a lot

- very vocal puker, makes these,,,, “euughh” sounds for every wave

- bad stomachaches

- will try to power through and go on with his day if sick but not if he’s hungover. that’s the one thing that gets him DOWN

- gets sick at least once a month from bad food…

- mopping up his vomit but throwing up again while he’s in the middle of it….

- tries to hide being sick from the kamisatos because he knows they will worry :(

- holding onto the wall, one hand on his stomach, sweating and just burping through nausea. he’s trying so hard.

- tries not to make a mess but fails a lot. shaking super hard and can’t stand

- vomit is mostly thick because he needs. to drink more

- doesn’t get carsick ! yippieh (for him)

- will get sick from others throwing up though, the sound and smell will set him off

- infamously: let ayato throw up on him during a car trip so he could blame it on thoma and go through his meeting. but yeah thoma went exactly 23 seconds before he started throwing up as well

- gets sick from both ends a lot actually, really needs to start refusing whatever ayato feeds him

- has also thrown up while eating … mortified and kept apologizing, ayato was just very confused and concerned

ok !!!!!! so it’s night and the traveler (lumine, im gay) is staying at the estate for some reason, she’s in the guest room which is next to ayakas. ayaka is in bed with her stomach rumbling and bubbling. very uncomfortable. she keeps burping, trying to get rid of the nausea but it just gets worse and worse and she ends up puking on her sheets. it’s super chunky too and sticks to her hair.

she sits up and keeps burping into her hand, then throws up on the floor and her feet but uh oh. it’s carpet. so she starts crying because she made such a mess and it leads to lumine coming in because she heard her crying.

she asks what’s going on and ayaka whimpers “i got sick” and “i made a mess..” and she’s just. so upset. lumine sits down next to her and rubs her back, telling her it’s alright and if she can do anything. ayaka says “can you please get thoma” and lumine agrees and goes searching for him.

thoma is with ayato though, they’re talking about something, so when lumine comes in, ayato asks if she needs anything. she says she’s fine “but ayaka threw up and asked for thoma”. ayato immediately asks “is she crying again?” because it’s a regular occurrence for ayaka to cry after throwing up.

so they go back to her room and ayaka is a bit surprised (and embarrassed) to see ayato join them, but that’s his sister and he’s worried.

they both start comforting her and lumine sits next to her again, rubbing her back again. ayaka apologizes to everyone multiple times but especially to thoma since he just changed her sheets this morning.

but after a while her nausea returns and she vomits again, one time, and then thoma holds his hands under her chin and she throws up some more. she’s sobbing and apologizing between burps and sobs and lumine suggests going to the bathroom.

she takes ayaka there and holds her hair as ayaka just,,,, fucking makes a huge mess because she’s crying and can’t aim.

meanwhile thoma is changing the sheets, he went to wash his hands quickly before. he turns to ayato who seems to just be standing around and asks if he’s alright, ayato then lets out a burp, groans and tells him he’s okay, just a bit shaken up from seeing someone — his sister — puke. but a few moments later he’s clutching ayakas little trashbin and dry heaving into it until he starts to vomit as well, quick watery waves that fill up the bin relatively quick. thoma rubs his back.

he doesn’t know if something is going around or if ayato is just sympathy puking but he doesn’t like it and he’s mentally preparing himself for a long night.
