And, I am back w/ a question for you: would LB mourn over the loss of Elise or Swain or Vlad? And if so, for who would it be the most for?
— I think I made a post on LeBlanc’s reaction to Swain’s death over here but I never did make one regarding Elise and Vlad did I ? Alright let’s get this started *clasps hands*
VLADIMIR:
The hemomancer was and has always been someone that LeBlanc has considered to be more than just an ally. He’s always been someone of pleasurable company and adoration if not a break of humor once in a while ; but of course along the way she has known and accepted the inevitable that one day he would pass. Truthfully LeBlanc would keep a memory of Vladimir around once he passes , perhaps keep a piece of his old claw weapons , old tomes , maybe even one of his old clothes. She stays quiet for days on end and refuses to have her presence in meetings unless the situation was an immediate request of her counsel , Emilia goes as far as hosting the funeral and burying his body in one of the catacomb spaces beneath the Black Rose as well as preserving it.
ELISE :
Elise has been one of the most influential people in LeBlanc’s life to date , not only in the context of the Black Rose as an organization but to Emilia and her successors throughout the millennia. Gosh , I can’t even express how much Emi loves her , from the very beginnings of their relationship when she had been alive to . . . now where the only existence of Emilia is within her hosts and the brooch that sits atop her head . Her death would essentially mean the death of Emilia’s purpose to keep striving on , aside her motivations for the Black Rose that is . The moment that Elise’s death reaches her , the current host ( in this case , let’s say Evaine ) would lose all control and have their body taken over by Emilia herself. Whoever is in her nearest proximity would be killed by either her magic or a physical weapon of some sort , then . . . the rest of the Black Rose as she sees fit. She would be blinded to the point that LeBlanc would actually slaughter the entirety of the Black Rose . There’s no more purpose for her , no longer any other immortal that would know each passing ache of a mortal life gone by , no more games to manipulate — atleast that’s how it seems to Emilia that is .
