Raptors with Un-raptor-like expressions: FALCON DDT ringing a very faint bell? It was the chemical farmers used in pesticides that ended up in water, then in fish, then in birds. DDT made eggs thin and when the birds sat on them, they would crack. As a result, some species were nearly driven to extinction.
