Okokokokokokok but hear me out
How interesting would it be, if the INTENT when using Chemical X (and its substitutes) played a huge part in how it’s Lifeforms manifests?
Does that make sense? Cuz I refuse to accept the « Boys inherently bad, Girls inherently good » thing.
Like, Professor Utonium wanted to have daughters— pure and simple. The powers were the ACCIDENT.
My man didn’t want to create a superpowered being who just so happened to come out shaped like three little girls. He wanted to create little girls, who just so happened to be superpowered beings!
Those were the base ingredients: What are Little Girls made out of? Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice!
My point is— when the Chemical X spilled in, even if by accident, the Professor’s intentions were PURE. His heart was in the right place, and when they emerged, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup REFLECTED that.
Now look at Mojo Jojo. He didn’t care about the children aspect of his creations— he just wanted creatures that could rival and take down the Powerpuff Girls. His base ingredients COULDN’T have been the reason behind the RRB’s wickedness, because they’re from the same recipe as the PPG’s.
What are Little Boys made out of? Snips, Snails, and a Puppy dog tail.
But the INTENT of Mojo Jojo, when he used the substituant potency of Chemical X, made the boys come out as petty, violent, vicious and nasty.
His intentions WEREN’T pure from the start. Mojo wanted weapons, and the alternated formula gave them to him in the form of tiny, destruction-seeking little brats.
Also— isn’t it SO interesting that the Rowdyruff Boys came out ALREADY named??? The PPG asked Professor to name them, as their creators, but not the boys!
Is it because Chemical X (well, the toilet he used in its stead) somehow KNEW Mojo didn’t care about the parenting aspect of creation and simply inserted identity into the boys AS THEY WERE BEING FORMED (whereas the Professor probably wanted the experience)??? Or did the girls ALSO have names ingrained, but let the Professor rename them anyways?
Man, idk
I might draw an au about that
