Inaudita It is a shared project of María Morata and Javier Peñafiel at the Espai sant Marc´s art residency, in Sineu. The work of María and Javier was supported technically by Adolf Alcañiz. María Morata and Javier Peñafiel met in Berlin in 2006, both where working on the PLAY Platform for Film & Video. Morata as curator and Peñafiel as artist respectively, they have had a critical conversation about the professional situation and how the context of their jobs was carried out. For a long time they wanted to meet to work toguether in a project around the conversation. In the sense of listening, to the other and establishing listening policies. The island lends itself as a laboratory where to edit walking and conversation, which is the methodology chosen Inaudita. They were been travel arround several times and to several destinations. Throughout the days staying at Sineu, finally one video is edited. From the convent of the minimums in Sineu to the private public district of Biniagual. Passing through the necropolis of Son Real. The Inaudita project doesn’t reproduce the conversations but rather dramatizes the writing and the voice through the echoes of the conversation, drawing, writing and reading through the residence.

2:09. Marcos Vidal Font & Wai Kit Lam, “Waiting… Despairing…”, 2017, HD video, stereo, colour, 2:09.
This video is about how to become more calm, more relax, to find the inside peace. The art world's goals and daily life take our mind out of itself from what is really important from the essence of things. Market and competition are exactly the opposite that the artist needs to create and to grow. The character tries to get close to nature, to the sea. He tries to rediscover the lost calm.
"We met at a fire place, in a lost farm two years ago, it was a happy encounter. And this time at Happy Valley our gathering would also be a meeting point of happiness and collaboration. In this area there are some spots to renovate, there are always some spots to remove and renovate. Remove, renovate, clean, build up. Come on this is Hong Kong, it’s a growing city following a golden goal.
Since I was a child I loved to find objects, to play and to mix with, turned them into new things. Cut and paste, I gave them life to jump around. But how come video and photo could cut and paste better than my hands, that’s the point. Owing to this, in this artist-in-residence project, Wai Kit Lam and I started the collaboration flow in both ways, we also tried to find any new possibility. This was not only limited in teamwork, it was also a new challenge for Wai Kit, she must confront some objects in her close reality, and found a personal way to film, to shoot and to fit those in her personal universe.
Residence influence, casual encounters, or maybe not. Our personal belongings messing up. We just find some treasures at the happy valley. A visual reward in a common yard.”
