Snow shimmers beneath the rising sun. Icicles adorning the estate and surrounding trees glisten in the golden light and life returns in a crisp morning. It’s these mornings Harmony took for granted before the twists and turns in her life dipping into the shadows and thankfully, return to the light. The light of a new life, a brighter future, and the dawn of new love.
Theran feared her at first and she felt the same. It took time to learn about their true natures, time to heal, and time to learn to trust and love again. Harmony did small things each day, little reminders of what she thinks of the god. Never did she think a being like him appreciates these small things over greater luxuries. It’s different, but she isn’t complaining.
But today is a little different. Harmony decided to do something a little special for a day dedicated for lovers to go the extra mile to show their affection. Sweet cinnamon rise in the morning air stemming from the warm kitchen where Harmony is hard at work. Minutes tick away closer to Theran waking up to the smell and she believes that this is something he will love.
I’m gonna rant. Prepare thine selves.
I’m sad as hell and lonely, the things I love make me cry. I want love but I don’t want to be a jerk about it? And I’m insecure and boring. Yaay!
