A sleepy little sketch time

Just something completely different. I wanted to practice some atmospheric painting style in photoshop and I directly used this beautiful dark watercolour picture of Katherine Lam as inspiration. Please check out their work. Its amazing!

These are “scenes” from Doctor Salomé’s (super secret) backstory, when he was a lot younger and living in Rexxentrum (the capital of the Dwendalian Empire).

Filling up page after page of quick sketches is the fastest and most effective way (that I’ve found) to improve your art, I feel like my illustrations have been kinda stagnent recently so I went back to what I know works!
