Filling up page after page of quick sketches is the fastest and most effective way (that I’ve found) to improve your art, I feel like my illustrations have been kinda stagnent recently so I went back to what I know works! Here are some of my favorite faces that came out of my most recent doodle session :)

OC UPDATE

Ok so, things have slowed down a bit!  I’ve received dozens upon dozens of submissions for the OC-drawing thing and I’m super excited about that. I’ve had to put down a bit of a strategy in order to handle them though since there are 40+ submissions and I’m still balancing this around my thesis project. So here are some tidbits on what’s about to go down.  Your OC will show up in a set like this 

It will feature a coloured and shaded bust of your character alongside two others. It’s first come first serve, so I will straight up be going through the submissions chronologically and order them up as they come. The name of the character will be written in the card above, if there was not a name provided for the character with the submission, your username will be credited.  Now, since I am going to be putting a lot of effort and time into these pieces, I will be uploading them to more social platforms of mine aside from Tumblr. If you do not want your OC to be featured on my platform ( with you properly credited of course ), you need to shoot me a message ASAP and tell me not to include your OC in any upload. I’ll have to discard your submission from the pile, in that case, no hard feelings - just making sure that no one gets in trouble cause of usage rights ( read below ). If you have submitted, but want a different name on your credit - shoot me a message as well with the name you want to be credited with. Once the card is published, you have every right to download the image and crop/cut your OC out and use as you please.  

I’ve already begun sketching up the first batch, which is around 10 OC’s ( 4 sheets ). There’s a whooooooole lot to go, and there are still submission popping in every now and again so I beg of you please be patient. This is going to be a little bit of a lengthy project but I really hope you will enjoy the freebies. 

And of course, since the characters will be drawn in “ my style “ which I something along the lines of this 

Expect your OC’s to look close to the reference but not 100% accurate, I’ll be putting my artistic interpretation on it to keep it fun for myself and hopefully interesting to you guys.
