Under the water. 

This one was hard to do, I almost left it unfinished... But I decided to finish it :) However, I’m not 100% happy with the result, so, what do you think about this one? Do you like it? //////

Digital art drawing number 2! コウペンちゃん (Koupen-chan), isn't it so cute.

I’m teaching myself how to draw on Procreate and giving myself challenges to learn new skills on there.

This time, my reference was a little toy gift from a friend. This cutie sits on my bookcase with my other cute/nerd things.

This time, I focused on the two skills I identified I wanted to grow/learn last time: ✏️ Use different layers for colouring so I can use alpha layer masks for shading. ✏️ Get stronger, less wobbly lines for the outlines.

I wonder what I should try learning next time. Probably keep practising the different layers!

Does anyone have any good advice for improvement? Other than keep practising, which I 100% will. I’m really enjoying it.

New character alert, meet Evane/Evan Holland (Evan is her preferred nickname).

This is one of the girls which also lives in the house Bronywyn lives in during her early adult years.

They didn’t particularly feel any which way about one another, but eventually during one of the days Evane was visiting her late father in the pretty dishevelled local graveyard, Bronywyn was wandering around the graves as if like she wasn’t even there for any actual person.

As we know, Bronywyns father lead a fairly grim and dishonest business which his daughter disagreed with, and that left her feeling utterly sad for those whos graves had been disturbed upon request (or not) through his “business”. So now, she takes it upon herself to basically show respect for the whole graveyard as she doesn’t know exactly which graves he has meddled with, just in case.

This ended up peaking Evanes curiosity and she asked why it was she was here...

Today I'm drawing my friend's demonstratestudios OC called Overlord Kasai Tomi Sama. I really love the design and the characteristics of this character, I'm a fan of Japanese culture for their historical art and folklore such as kitsunes and spirits.
