RED— What is the easiest way to make your OC angry?

Ivy: Hovering behavior, whether it be from pestering or just overly checking in on them consistently. Good intentions or not Ivy will get annoyed very quickly and will snap .. they just want to be left alone at times!

Illyana: Incompetence. After being with the Wardens for as long as she was and forming into a leader, Illyana simply cannot take bullshit. You either know what your doing or you don't and if you joke around she will have you dealt with. She has no time for the nonsense.

PURPLE— Does your OC have a commanding presence?

Ivy: Nope. Which pisses Ivy off more than anything because they want to be taken seriously but unfortunately it takes a lot for some to sit and listen to them at times. Not that Ivy has the patience for that though, you will listen to them whether you like it or not.

Illyana: Yes! As much as she doesn't want it, she is unfortunately a Commander, the Left Hand of the Divine’s very known lover and a slayer of an archdemon so whether she likes it or not that presence is rightfully earned!

teenage superhero girl. time travel powers. desperately (possibly unrequitedly) in love with her girl best friend whose life she values above her own. physically removed her soul from her body. no self esteem. active suicide risk. thinks she's a demon. constantly at risk of losing control and being corrupted into a force of pure evil. magical weapon. has bangs.

No cuz none of you understand she thinks her soul is irredeemably corrupted and that she's fundamentally evil, and that if she cold just cut this one thing out of her soul she would be Fixed Forever she would be Good but then she actually gets that and shes like. nothing. she feels nothing. she's a normal girl and it's everything she ever wanted and she feels nothing about it. but then the INSTANT kitty is in danger she abandons all of it, her hopes of a happy normal life, to take that part of her back and save kitty. do you understand

The thing is after illyana resurrected she thought she could go right back and everything would be the same but kitty has changed so much without her and she feels like the new mutants just kind of tolerate her out of obligation. and especially since the kittypiotr engagement she felt 1. like piotr was stealing kitty from her but more importantly 2. that kitty was pushing her away and keeping her at arms length so she's been really leaning hard on unhealthy and unsustainable coping mechanisms and intentionally trying to avoid kitty bc it hurts her too much

like girl is incredibly isolated and keeps bouncing from team to team but never making close connections to anyone and she's just kind of given in that this is what life is going to be; kitty was the only one she ever really let into her life but she feels like that's broken forever and she's narratively never going to be able to heal because she's terrified of letting other people in so she's just going to continue to get worse

she died she was WIPED FROM EXISTENCE and the only one who remembered her was not her brother it was KITTY and in fact her sword —LITERALLY HER SOUL!!— went to kitty at that time it wasn't destroyed. AND when she got her demonic curse removed the soulsword went straight to kitty because she and kitty have two halves of the same soul AND! even though she was happy for the first time she took back the soulsword to save kitty. she thought she was irredeemable and wanted to be a normal girl but she gave that all up for kitty without even thinking because they're IN LOVE

i think the thing about illyana is she kind of refuses to heal shes kind of been stuck in a self-isolating toxic cycle of pushing people away so they don't care about her and her dying and coming back only makes it worse because now everyone she cared about has had like 6 years of shared experiences without her. and i think a lot of writers since bendis don't understand this and just write her as generic stabby goth
