So, Azriel's book is 100% next!
My guess on Sarah’s most recent post is that she’s getting inspiration for the Illyrian Mountains or the Winter Court.
Emerie because she’s amazing and deserves all the love 💕 I’m glad I finally found the time to finish this piece. This was one of my favourite scenes because we really got to see Emerie and Nesta bond.
“You’re the new ribbon, Az.”
A truly lovely description of where Feyre and the Inner Circle decided would be a wonderful place for Nesta to find “purpose” and “heal.”
If this doesn’t show you how back-handed and self-serving sending Nesta to the Illyrian camps was, then I don’t know what will.
She whispered, "And I am yours." Those golden threads between their very souls shone with the words, as they formed a harp strummed by a heavenly hand.☁️ - Sarah J Maas ACOSF

Some friendly reminders
Nesta even as human wasn’t affected by Tamlin’s glamour
Nesta had known that Feyre invaded Lucien’s mind
Nesta can ignore Rhysand’s commands even when he is putting power on it
Elain is a seer, and Nesta said ‘yes’ when Devlon asked if she were a witch
I’m convinced all these topics are interlinked. I’m so looking forward to get the answers. They’re coming soon (finally). Let’s see how it goes... I can’t wait anymore
I've seen a lot of growing discord about the IC's hierarchy and how cassain is at the bottom of it, and I agree. But I believe that theres a social, official and functional hierarchy.
In terms of their social interactions, it's quite obvious that cassain is placed at the bottom based on how the IC views him, speaks about him and treats him. Then theres the official hierarchy which to me looks like just a feminist facade. As it has placed the women of the IC above the men and makes it seem like a feminist statement but is then negated by the functional hierarchy. This is where you can tell where the real power resides and it's with the men. Because the women never know what's going on apart from a few details because rhys seems to only brief az and cassian on political moves. Examples of this are the illyrian rebellion, the deal with eris, visiting the bone Carver. The only woman with a role seems to be amren and even that looks like its limited to decoding books and defending Velaris in the improbable chance of attack. And mor...I dont know what mor does. I've seen liasson to Hewn city, but she never does that alone. Shes always flanked by the rest of the IC and doesnt seem to do any work there besides terrorizing her family (I know they did her wrong, but still). Then theres elain. Do we even need to discuss elain. I know that shes getting paid based on cassians POv saying that nestas getting paid as much as everyone else, so elains included there(as comical as it is). Feyre never deliberates with rhys on moves and only hears the plans once they are set out already and only needs her to agree to them, which she always does. So she doesnt really count.
Then we get the guys. The guys carry the whole court(limited to Velaris) on their backs. This I where the gender pay gap is valid😂😂. Cassian is constantly in illyria training soldiers, teaching kids how to fly and keeping things on that end in order. Azriel is always minding other peoples business by spying and managing any future threats to the court(velaris). And rhys, we know what rhys does.
The only female addition that could rattle the status quo is nesta, because the synopsis states that shes gonna be actively fighting for her court. And from her role as emissary, we know that she takes whatever position she occupies seriously , so she'll earn her cash.
How these people havent complained about the labour disparities while getting equal pay, is beyond me. Because chile, if I was working as much as cassian, in the mud, getting bruised and dealing with dissent from soldiers who've contemplated killing me regularly, while getting the same pay as mor who shops for a living and elain who gardens for a living?? Whew, Let's just say that the rebels would win.
That's all.
