It's funny how you learn something new every day. While reading an article in the April issue of @orlandomag I'll be sharing on Facebook later this week, I discovered this piece of history located just a few blocks away from me. Turns out Jack Kerouac lived in College Park for a brief stint in the late 1950's. In the 1990's another author, Bob Kealing, discovered the house and long story short, the house today acts as a "haven for up-and-coming writers" with 4 writers taking up residency there and working on their own projects at any given time. What?! Right here in my own neighborhood!
