This is me, Trois, without make-up. I’m a professional make-up artist so I’ve trained my eye to see flaws & fix them according to how we’re expected to look on camera. I personally love that Dolly look, but.. outside of myself I’m attracted to the unusual, different & imperfect. I look for flaws & love them in others. I’m offering illustrations to help people feel cute & not worry about insecurities. It’s something small I can give back in a way I understand. We all have them. I do too! And 🙌 for all the beautiful words, but I’m far from purrfect. It’s smoke & mirrors - A friend once told me it’s all on your own eyeballs, & it’s so true. We cover what we’re ashamed of physically, but, there’s others that love that about you, or don’t even notice it. I get more compliments when I’m my messy no make-up self. Don’t obsess or focus on these “flaws”.. it puts down invisible hurdles. I used to worry about my transparent pale skin at the pool.. at school I used fake tan or wore tan stockings to fit in. I hadn’t swam in years, until I started dressing up in a cute latex dress ! (Credit to @fatmikedude ) - I now embrace my pale freckly skin (well the tattoos helped) Self confidence is sexy, even if you need the brightest lipstick/hair to help get you there. It seems shallow but it’s not. Do You! It’s how I do it. Putting on my face daily is like putting on my war paint so I can face the day. It’s for Me & no one else. It makes me feel cute & confident. And I dont think that makes us shallow.
