And no, his little chibi does not count as canon. >P Real Lee would not even THINK of being perverted. He's just that pure and true of a good guy.
LEE IS NOT A PERVERT. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Which, is why his AU version IS. He has absolutely not a single spec of pervertedness in him, and so it is only natural that his exact opposite WOULD be pervy.
I'm sorry, just seeing things that bring down his wonderful, truly good honest reputation makes me mad.
Which is why, I am not a huge fan of his Spin-off show. Anything that makes fun of him and alter's peoples views of him to such an extreme, its like... wrong. Like imagine having a wonderful sweet little lamb on an anime, but having a side anime for the sweet little lamb and altering its character to be perverted! It's just wrong! A bit funny, but WRONG!
I'm pretty sure Lee would not want his reputation tarnished so much, or the little lamb as well. NOR myself, if something like that was done for me, I would be just as disgusted.
Now, I'm not completely dissing the anime (it's mostly the manga that is really perverted), because Lee worked hard to get a show and I'm so proud that he finally has something like that, and I DO think the show is quite funny at times(I still can't get over Orochimaru in a Hawaiian shirt.) I just think they could have done without all the perverted stuff. Cuz seriously? I think there are PLENTY of other things people could watch to watch perverted stuff; why pervert one of the only amazing pure characters ever?
Well, actually I already know the answer to that.
Anyway, I didn't come on here to dis everyone's fandom and everything, this wasn't even supposed to be long. ^^;
BUT I DID come here to say, that I am a strong Canon Non-Pervy Lee fan, and I am proud of it! Nothing anyone can say will ever change that, and I really hope that he has more supporters out there <3
Cuz' I mean, look at him! He is the darn cutest thing on the face of this planet!!!! <3
