So, here’s the thing - Kai is an absolute dear. She’s incredibly sweet and creative, she’s so much fun to talk to, and just generally talented and wonderful.

We met way back in the KH fandom, when my Xig was brand-new. In fact, if I remember correctly, and I probably don’t, I feel like she was one of the first people I wrote with in that fandom. Either way, she’s been a staple of my KH experience for as far back as my memory goes. She’s helped me flesh my boy out, which was a big thing, shared headcanons and angst, and genuinely just made it a super fun experience. 

On top of that, she’s made Kairi something special. Not to say that Kairi isn’t special in the games! Just that she’s taken our princess and fleshed her out in ways the games seem afraid to, and given her so much life and just really done wonderful job of it. And, let’s not forget the nightmares that gawawawawawash-darned icon gave us all.

Also, her face is cute and she’s the real MVJ (Most Valuable Jedi).
