not to be a giant nerd on main or anything but i am breaking my heart with my own character. modeled Ilvara's dream guardian after her ex lover who died in a shipwreck. she's over 500 years old and she's not a stupid woman. but she also hasn't seen her lover's face in 40 years and she wants to believe this is somehow really him

Took a break from commissions to draw some characters from Out of the Abyss because I'll be DMing that after our party finishes Curse of Strahd :3

Also there's like almost no fan art for oota and I wanted fun little doodles of some of the characters my players will meet XD

A few of these were referenced from capo's expression meme chart.

Velkynvelve, a drow run outpost in the wilds of the Northdark under the command of Mistress Ilvara of House Mizzrym. It is here, that unlucky prisoners of the dark elves are taken to either be sacrificed to the Spider Queen Lolth, or in some cases...worse.

Ilvara would have a fascinating dynamic with Ulder. She spent so many years in poverty. She hasn’t had any sort of title since leaving the Underdark. Her ONLY priority is her son. So she cannot fathom Ulder putting his job and his city before his son. Even if it was the right thing to do.

But also even if she can’t understand his motivations she would want so badly to help reunite the two of them. Every child deserves their parents in their life. And there is still love there.

also just so we're all on the same page, I know in my heart that Ilvara is fat. even if baldur's gate 3 character creator hates me too much to allow it
