rain lilies is special to me because it was my very first event fic, written with people i truly admire. what remains the same is still my comfort fic, so knowing you love it makes me really happy.

i’ve always written with a lot of emotion and passion, or how should i say, very plot-heavy. like… very plot-heavy fics. when i was just starting out, i was told before that it was unnecessary, or that some readers avoid long stories with too much plot. but even then, i already knew i was writing for myself first, and anyone who loves and finds my work is just a beautiful bonus.

i really believe every writer should remember that and even in real life too. always be yourself. tell the stories you want to tell. create the way your heart wants to.

for the love of the universe, you telling me that i’m good enough to publish my own book is one of the sweetest compliments i’ve received in a long time. i’m genuinely about to cry while writing this. thank you so, so much!

I want to answer in the most non-insane way possible, but I love the concept of numbers and meanings and easter eggs (in the most annoying Stardew Valley/Steven Universe/Taylor Swift way) and when I write, I want it to be the same?

I’m super particular with the meaning of things, and even though the oneshot being one-one-one-one-one words was a joke I made when writing at first, I can’t not write things that are not long. I love oneshots, and I love when the world someone puts a ship in, even a short one-off one, is so vastly weaved with bs you get lost in it- Even if it’s just for one time? And I rlly overly overthink, and tbh I enjoy having things just so when I write, so if it lines up in my mind in a way I find numerically nice (and I shoved a bunch of oh look at THAT that means THIS and THIS lines up with THAT) I’m like yeah that’s good put it in

And am trying so hard not to sound weird, so I think easy answer is ‘haha oneshot has one one one one one words how silly’, long answer is I am insane
