imamiii's skin is beautiful! he's one of my fave cc creators. actually buhudain you are real works with all skins, it just adds more 3D details "on top" of any skins you have, it is not a skin by itself.
here’s what you should do:
install the tabula rasa default skin
install the buhudain you are real files
if you had installed a skin specular texture replacement, such as KBHDSpecularDefaultReplacementFIXED.package which i have, remove it from your mods folder.
now, open your game and enjoy <3
the “specular” is a texture file inside the skin package that affects the general shininess of the skin. for example, look at the glossy shine on the lips in the tabula rasa preview pics. that is what imam is referring to in the description.
the buhudain files are normal maps, which add 3D shading and details on to the skin, but they don’t really change how shiny or matte the skin is.
the skin texture, the normal map, and the specular texture all work together to affect how a skin looks.
i feel like we need a ✨ visual ✨ demonstration. AMIR come over here. do you see the veins on his biceps, forearms, and hands? those are the 3D details added by buhudain on top of the cc skin. then, my KBHD specular replacement gives the skin an overall soft matte look.
