• Terrified of losing people, so he turns everything into a joke. The moment the laughter stops? Emotions flood in. Literally.

• Short King™ (5’10” and furious about it). Tries to fight tall monsters just to feel something.

• Loyalty kink. Will commit arson for a friend. No hesitation. “This mortal law doesn’t apply to demigods, right?”

• BI. AS. HELL. Like painfully bisexual. “That guy is trying to kill me but also he’s got great arms. Unfair.”

• Spent years thinking he just really admired Luke. Nope. He wanted to be him and kiss him. Very confusing.

• Once watched a son of Apollo play the lyre shirtless and dropped his sword.

• His first real bi panic? Jason Grace’s arms during a quest. “Bro… why are your veins doing THAT???”

• Pretends not to care about how he looks but if someone hot compliments his curls? He’ll be thinking about it for days.

• PTSD and depression gang. You don’t fight titans at 12 and walk away fine.

• Has nightmares every other night. Doesn’t tell anyone. Just goes to sit on the beach alone until sunrise.

• Has cried in the Big House exactly once and Chiron pretended not to see. (But later gave him a shell necklace and didn’t explain why.)

• Bottles things SO HARD. Only cracks when someone (usually Annabeth or Nico) goes “You don’t always have to be strong, you know.”

• Annabeth = soulmate, yes, but also… he’s SO bi.

• Sometimes sees a hot guy and feels weirdly guilty?? Like, “is this… cheating? I’m just admiring, right??”

• Has a brief, intense, confusing flirtation with Leo. It ends in flames. (Literally. The dock caught fire.)

• Nico: There’s a weird tension there that neither will name. They’d never date, but they understand each other like no one else does.

• Eats blue food like it’s a religion. Tried to dye steak once. It didn’t work. Still ate it.

• Cannot take a decent photo. Always blinking, scowling, or holding a weapon.

• Has 3 hoodies. One’s Annabeth’s, one’s Nico’s, and the third is from Target and he’s emotionally attached to it.

• Secretly loves musicals but pretends he doesn’t. Sings Hadestown under his breath while cleaning his sword.

• Writes bad poetry about the sea and hides it in seashells like cursed horcruxes.

• Owns 37 tridents. Needs 1. Keeps all of them. Says it’s “for backup.” Lies.

hc that annbeth is a terrible singer sounds like mourning of a dying whale level of terrible and is super conscious of her voice. However, with percy, she can be herself and sing her heart out. On one such day when she is pouring her heart out all engrossed in the moment she realises her and percy aren't really alone, they are by the camp side and every single person now is quiet as hell and staring at her with a shocked expression. The perfecto annabeth who never let's her tongue slip just sung in front of the whole camp!? Not even a second full of silence but annabeth turned red as if an hour had passed by. Then percy,without skipping a beat, begins singing, horribly, as horrible as his throat could sound, like a call for death. And so does everyone,pretending nothing happened and competing on who could be sound uglier. And annabeth just Sar there, still red from embarrassment yet blushing furiously now. On the fact how her boyfriend whose voice was as melodious and mesmerizing as the sirens decided he was better off as this for her and the fact that the camp just accepted her and motivated her to be herself. She was never self conscious about it again.
