Pat stops herself from asking if he's serious, remembering that not everyone treated their problems with cheap beer. In all honesty, maybe a milkshake was the healthier option. Either way, it wouldn't kill her to indulge in something sweet. A small smile lightens her features.
"You know what? I'll join you, but if a double scoop is over 10 bucks, I'll be seriously miffed." It's only half a joke; her philosophy is that food should be cheap. It's only able to be consumed once, what's the point of spending so much on it!
