omg so we’re halfway through 2015 and i have to say i’m so hype about this year so far

specifically because it looks like this year is becoming a cultural revolution for young women learning that their self-worth is not determined by men and that all bodies are beautiful. and here we are celebrating those with disabilities and conditions and anything that defines women as being “not beautiful” by popular culture standards and i’m just so so proud that we’re coming to a point where women are realizing that we’re more powerful boosting each other up instead of being in competition with each other like the media from our childhoods raised us to behave

it just makes me so excited to see how far this is gonna go and the fact that in the future we can raise our daughters in a way so much different than we were raised and that just makes me so so happy :o)
