“Hey, sweetheart! I’m home!”
You smile as you call out to your boyfriend, still not moving from your spot in front of the stove, to come into the kitchen as dinner was almost ready. The blond man came running, bumping into the dining table, as he came bounding over to where you stood; engulfing you in a tight hug.
“God, I missed you so much today!” Kaminari sighs, as he loosens his hold on you, eyes focusing more on the food you were finishing up making rather than your pretty face “That smells suuuuuuper good! Is it almost done?”
“You saw me this morning, it's only been a few hours!” You giggle, turning the stove off and trying to grab hold of a few plates from your cupboard “And yes, we can eat now if you’re so hungry.”
“I’m starving!” He groans playfully, letting you go to grab the plates for you. Setting them gently on the counter top before swooping down to give you a sweet kiss, smiling at your surprised expression.
“And of course I missed you baby. Doesn’t matter if it's been a few days, hours, or even minutes. I always wanna be around you!”
You are only able to blush and look shyly away. He was always able to make your heart swoon and make you feel so shy, even though you’ve been dating for years now. He just had that effect on you. Not that you would want to change that at all, you always felt so appreciated and loved.
And besides, you always missed him just as much.
You served your portions, grabbing hold of the plates as he got to the table first to pull out your chair; pushing it in for you once you sat down before settling in across from you. You both enjoyed your meal, you talked about your days at work, what your friends were up to this weekend, and overall laughing and enjoying each other's company.
When the meal was done he helped you clean up, drying the dishes and singing along to the songs playing in the background. Once you passed him the last plate, he quickly dried it off so he grabbed you before you escaped, so he could hold you in his arms once again.
He tickled you once he had you, enjoying your shrills and giggles as you tried to squirm away. It only succeeded in him continuing the act with more vigor. Once he felt you had enough, he gave you a soft kiss once again. Pulling away slowly and placing his forehead against yours so he could look into your beautiful eyes again.
“Let’s have a bath, shall we? Get all nice and relaxed before bed, yeah?”
You couldn’t find it in yourself to argue.
