Daniela Castro definitely wasn’t the person Al wanted to find himself lined up for an elevator with, but those were apparently the cards the world was dealing him. It would be okay, though - you weren’t supposed to talk to others in elevators, and since he was just going to the fourth floor, it would be quick and painless. But the elevator thought that was too easy, apparently; it halted to a stop between the third and fourth floor. Al broke the silence, his tone of pure disbelief: “You’re fucking joking.”
