hello!!

do you like c!beeduo? do you like tubbo-centric fics? do you enjoy god au’s, or even the reincarnation-immortal trope? do you like long fics and bittersweet endings? what about moral greyness and exploration of what makes you human? or possibly slightly nihilistic poetic writing with religious themes? c!ranboo being a little mean? c!tubbo being a little bit of a bad person? well i’ve got the fic 4 you!!

i’m mayzier and i have a fic out called “i love you (will it last?)” with everything previously mentioned and more!! it’s an alternate universe where tubbo is an immortal god and ranboo is a human reincarnation!! you even have some immortal!tommy as well :D it’s mostly tubbo/beeduo-centric and begins with meeting him ranboo in their new lifetime. it’s about 60k words with 6 out of 7 chapters posted, so if you’ve read up 2 this point, maybe u shud check it out! :D

METAPHYSICAL METAMORPHOSIS // a soft epilogue to those who could forgive me.

Here’s the thing with Tommy and Ranboo: they know each other. They’re not as close as the sun is to the earth, but close enough that they’re the moon and the tides. There’s the gravitational push, push, push, and the startle yet soft pull. This is how their conversations go. Push, push, push, pull.

Tommy is nervous to cross the line between yearning and desperation. When Tubbo doesn’t respond, he finds himself succumbing to the suffocation. Ranboo is a multitude of things: the moon, a human, and a man who’s supposed to be dead.

Tommy is afraid to want more. More is the only thing Ranboo wants. Together, they metamorphosize.

hi it’s me zie and i wrote a tubbo centric/beeduo centric god au with reincarnation ranboo (characters only) and i worked super hard on it and the metaphors and motifs and writing is good so maybe you’d wanna check it out!!

“Do you think we’ll last forever?” Tubbo asked, low and heavenly. There was a ringlet of light. There was happiness. There was a vespa in the corner of their eye and a human by their side.

“Do you want us to?”

In the middle of the bloodshed and broken ivory, there’s Tubbo (an all holy god, a religion of unforgiving, a symbol to the people, death incarnate) and there’s Ranboo (the human.)

Tubbo is all whispers of please and thank you and you can’t be mine. Tubbo is all shock electric wire. Tubbo is the looming threat of an explosion, a nuclear fallout, a ticking bomb. Tubbo is all starlight and death.

Ranboo is all prayers of if things were different, I still would want you with me.

hello!!! it’s the second to last chapter of ily the fic!!! my immortal + reincarnation god au ft. god!tubbo and reincarnation!ranboo. check it out!!! it’s 59k words total rn :D link here!

some excerpts:

There’s this human, right? And he’s the only other human in your best friend's life (besides yourself). And he runs off and dies, like all humans do (except yourself) and you’re there to pick up the pieces (everything is broken, right?). And then the human comes back (which it isn’t supposed to do). And what’s even worse, it dies again (like it’s supposed to), but this time, after a few years, your best friend can’t seem to remember their name, or their face, or their voice. But then the human reappears again, and you watch the two fall in love and fall out of it, over and over and over again. You watch all the stages of grief. You watch the ashes pick up and flicker back into flame. (Is it fixed now?) You hate the cycle. You live in it.

Ranboo hoped their body would look just as pretty as the stars they can’t see or the butterflies inside their rib cage or the world that didn’t love them back.

Ranboo hoped that by morning, they’d just be an artist.

“Are you a poet?” Tubbo asked bluntly. A simple curious thought, even though they are not too sure what a poet is but they know poets make pretty things out of copper and bone and Ranboo made everything on this ugly earth beautiful. Maybe he was a poet.

Ranboo laughed, low and gravelly from the late night and hours of talking.

“No, I’m just human.”

“I’ll take care of you.” Ranboo says.

“It’s rotten work. Not worth it.” I’m not worth it.

“Not to me. Not if it’s you.”

The air is humming with the scabs and the tears and the laughter. It has been for a while now, and Ranboo smiles. Tubbo smiles back, finding himself feeling sickly human.

There’s Ranboo, amidst the battle and all the bloodshed and begging. There’s Ranboo, with their scabs and their laughter and their stupid, stupid smile. It is everything made of broken promises and unsaid white lies and unforgivable things that maybe Tubbo should consider sin, but it’s Ranboo.

happy new years!!!! new chapter of i love you (will it last?) is out!!!! it’s a tubbo centric beeduo god au AND AND reincarnation au!!!!! here are some excerpts from chapter three “the last of the true romantics.”

“I’ll take you to Italy one day.” Tubbo says and their voice is filled with promising things and holy water and thoughts of we know each other and it’s a little like finding love as an easy thing to come by and it’s a horrible, horrible thought that warms Ranboo to the core. They play with Tubbo’s cold ivory hands. He’s so cold and Ranboo feels so warm.

“I’ll hold you to it,” Ranboo says and they sound like the trickle of holy water when you’re about to be baptized and they don’t believe in many things and it’s hard to find faith but maybe they’ve been doing something right, or maybe Orphic just pities them. Either way, in this second filled with promises, it’ll be okay.

Tubbo does not follow human laws or ideals. Tubbo follows his own will at his own accord, and sometimes, he follows Tommy. Tommy is technically still a human, just one who simply hasn’t died, even though it has surely been centuries. It was a gift, the immortality, to Tommy by Tubbo.

They were each other’s first friends, and for a long time, each other’s only friends. They had grown up together, when Tubbo first crashed on earth, when he first claimed the land to be his own, when he decided to play with wet mud and molded bones from dirt and ash and his own blood.

Ranboo laughs one more time and they yawn. They want to keep their eyes open, to watch the sunset, to watch Tubbo watch the sunset, to feel alive and look alive with no apologies. They can’t, though, the guilt of being themself is still too much to bear. They close their eyes and rest their head on Tubbo’s. He is still unbearably cold.

“Do you remember when we first met?”
