I know that coming back in like this is entirely inappropriate considering the circumstances in which I left, but if I were to deeply apologize and offer some justification would I stand a chance in being welcomed once more?
For those of you who are looking for an explanation, my mother has left us. She was horrendously ill many months back and my father reached out upon her passing. I wasn’t entirely sure what to do but knew that I had to be there for him so I had made my return to Israel.
I know it was terrible of me to leave with such short notice to the important people in my life, but a lot had happened and I am so, so very sorry.
Okay, so I am really in the mood to do some camping. Haven’t done it in a while, but I thought maybe it could be fun to go with a friend or hell, it could even be romantic if that was kind of up your alley? Anybody want to go camping in Joshua tree with me?

Well here I am. My name is Oliver ( real name Koios, but Oliver is my middle name and so much easier to pronounce) and I am a professor of Classical studies at UCLA. My main focus is Greek mythology, but I also tend to work on Norse myths and occasionally the roman gods. I know this photo may look like I am lost in thought, but actually, I was teaching a seminar about Mount Olympus. My brother Thomas talked me into getting social media, so please forgive anything I may do wrong as I am very new to this and a little nervous.
