Charlie Bilodeau is a Canadian pair skater who on April 16 announced his retirement by writing an essay for the CBC about how he came to a difficult realization that he no longer could invest his all in skating and that it drained rather than motivated him. He notified his partner Lubov Ilyushechkina and coaches only the night before it was to be published. He left his previous partner Julianne Seguin in a similarly abrupt way. Charlie has an unaspected Sun in his chart in Leo.

Today I know it.” He is saying this in April 2020 to a partner he broke up with in 2018, so seems to imply that this was unsaid at the time, that he didn’t fully realize until now why he was unhappy and wanted to leave, and had not said this to her in person.
