Sit down, I’ll tell you a story. One day, I made a stupid mistake. I said some nasty things I didn’t mean, and I lost someone. Not just a best friend, not just a sister. But a piece of me. I think about her now and then. Like, every time I get coffee, Or formulate secret plans after midnight, Or think of an old inside joke, Or I’m in desperate need of an intelligent conversation. I really fucking miss you.
