what she means: when peter and jason’s tones escalate in ‘best kept secret’ and 'ever after’, both times they call each other 'coward’ and 'fool’. this reflects each of their most negative criticisms toward each other: peter is mad at jason for not being accepting of himself and being too scared of what others think of him to be himself, while jason is bitter toward peter bc he doesn’t understand how he can be so open ab his feelings when judgement from others is preventable by putting on an act. this is ultimately a major flaw in their relationship, but also highlights their characters: peter is the dreamer, focused on his own ambitions and feelings, whereas jason more worldly, realistic, focused on others view of him and doing what is considered acceptable.

im getting emo abt my own ocs but... im love tua and im proud of her.... a big #thing w her is the concept of choice, and how at a certain point, recovery is abt choice, abt choosing to let urself heal, abt overcoming the worry abt who u will be afterwards, and its not easy for her and it doesnt happen overnight but in the end she keeps choosing to try. she simply realized she was allowed to forgive herself
