He took a shaky breath steadying himself and as he looked into your eyes the words fell from his lips with ease "I'm in love with you and I have been since the moment I saw you" his heart swelled with pride. If you rejected him he would be okay because he had finally said what he needed to. He didn't want to be the first to say it but it was going to happen anyway. There and then in that moment with you he knew it, he was in love with you and he wasn't going to change it.
