wait wait wait wait Poe comforting you when you're feeling empty

!!! omg ive been wanting to talk about poe and stuff like this w/ his love!!!

poe is v emotional and can read emotions in others pretty well. if you’re feeling too much or not feeling anything, he’s gonna be a strong shoulder to lean on. he’ll cup your face and ask you to tell him what’s wrong. 

if you can’t find the words then he’ll just sit with you for a while. or maybe he’ll do something that you don’t have the energy to do. need him to fold clothes? done. he’ll talk, tell you some funny story. or he’ll just be a quiet presence. if you need space he can keep his hands busy elsewhere, and poke his head in and ask if you need anything. 

he’ll absolutely draw you a bath, and join you if you want. or play w/ your hair if you’d like. he’ll eat you out too if that would help take your mind off things. 

he’s no stranger to grief and loss, and his emotions are so strong. he may not “understand” but you’d never know the difference because he won’t let you suffer alone. 

i can also see him being really silly to get you to laugh. like flopping down next to you on the couch and shoving his head into your lap and nuzzling you to get you to play with his hair. he’ll turn and lay on his back, his head still in your lap. and he’ll look up at you while your fingers comb thru his curls. he just watches your face, and then he starts to make silly faces at you until you notice and he coaxes a grin from you.

im super emotional with the news of the final season of b99 airing in august and seeing that I just got over 1,000 followers. Even though ive used this blog for other fixations of mine in the past I love being apart of this little tumblr b99 family its such a great community (even though the part I play is very very tiny)! I started watching this show randomly in 2017 and it instantly became my go-to comfort show. Im so happy that I found it when I did so that I could watch this last half of the series live with you guys, it makes it so much more enjoyable to geek out with everyone on here. ily and ty for following me 💕💕

Happiness is something that every single person on this planet strives for, the one thing everyone wants. Few people have found it, many have not and maybe some never will. I'm beginning to think, I'm one of those people. Meant for a life full of sorrow and suffering, an eternal depression. Though, I suppose suffering is better than mind-numbing normality. The phrase 'I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all' exists for a reason, the numb is far worse than pain. It makes you feel isolated, alone. As if nothing around is real, you aren't real your problems and insecurities aren't real. As if your entire existence, is but a mere illusion. Personally, its the most terrifying experience.
