Well what to say and how to even start about indian education system we study too much theory like toooooooooo much. And don't even get me started on the amount of syllabus we have and the pressure of Boards then JEE NEET CLAT CUET , all the entrance exams and getting into good college and then the reservation system and the cut throat competition. I can't even imagine how I survived highschool. And it's not that good in college too but still I can study the subjects I want. Then again speaking about courses in college I think our syllabus and choice of subjects is really out dated and those people who choose something else than engineering medicine and law they are considered as a failure. In short we are just F****D UP.

Like, the syllabus is too much to cover in a matter of 2 years (for engineering especially) and they put so much hype and pressure to become an iit-ian,

like- girl you can't make lakhs of students iit-ians and then, when one doesn't clear mains, they're suddenly a failure like where tf is the logic😭

And then there's the reservations🤦🏻‍♀️ oof-

AND THE STIGMA! the stigma of people who choose something other than engineering and medicine are suddenly failures who don't want a "smooth" life😭😭

Another thing that pisses me off is some of the elder generations, they go around saying that our generation is "weak", " coddled", "complains too much", " we too have given our aiims and we didn't do all this overaction" Like KagsvsdsbsvdvdvSHUTUPamsv

Have you seen the competition?? What were the hardest questions for y'all are given to us as examples of "common sense".

It's not just for children who were forced/given no option to choose their own set of career choices (who mind you are in the age where they want to develop their passions).

It's even sad for those who are GENUINELY interested in the stream. The competition is too grotesque for a teenager in their mentally maturing years!

Another thing I think is criminally underestimated is boards imo. They make it sound as of its easy as pir to the students prepping for higher competitive exams.

Like yes, it is RELATIVELY easier than them but boards, is not easy as pie for everyone. Not everyone works the same, and the expectations are too much! I've seen institutes give barely 2 weeks to mug up a year worth of material. Mind them, I've seen so called "toppers" struggle with boards.
